Almost 2 years after the release of Aaron Levin Harder's EP 'Blues Done Let Me Dyin', the previously unreleased maxi-single of 'Money Dont Matter Tonight' is now seeing it's official release as part of "The Aaron Levin Harder Legacy" release series. Featuring 2 edits of the original full-length recording which have been only available on rare promo-editions of the EP, the maxi-single also includes the opening track from the EP's companion piece 'Blues Dont Let Me Dyin' which is only available on
purpleeternityrecords.com for download. After an intended release on CD in 2020, the maxi-single has been eventually shelved, and is now available for the first time exclusively on our digital Bandcamp store including complete artwork, an 8-page digital booklet, and the official music video of "Money Don't Matter Tonight", which features footage of rare live performances from Harder before his "Another Night Alone" concert.
'Money Dont Matter Tonight' is the sole-single from the 2019 Edit & Remaster of Aaron Levin Harder's EP 'Blues Done Let Me Dyin' released on May 3, 2020, and the previously unreleased 4-track maxi-single is now also available for the first time only here on Bandcamp.
🔎 About 'Blues Done Let Me Dyin':
'Blues Done Let Me Dyin' is the previously unreleased EP from 2017 that was originally intended as the first release of Aaron Levin Harder to feature studio recordings. It rapidly developed into his most complex piece of work, with a vast variation of configurations and extensive recording of additional material. The project initially received its name and cover art already back in 2016, but had no further concept or detailed track listing, until a recorded jam session eventually produced all 5 tracks that were to be included on the EP. Although it features mostly cover songs Harder partially already recorded and played often at his live shows, it gives a rare insight into his development to a more independent sound from the classic blues style he usually played in. The EP can be considered one of his most valuable works, as it spotlights Harder’s musical evolvement in his last active year of producing material, where he was open to develop a different approach to his performance and production. In 2020, three years after its recording, 'Blues Done Let Me Dyin' finally saw the light of day in an edited and remastered rendition which was executively produced and prepared for its final release by ALH in 2019. The EP is available for streaming on selected digital platforms and for digital download on
purpleeternityrecords.com.
